Tour Itinerary
Day 1:  Today we depart for our flight to Anchorage, Alaska.

Day 2:  This morning we take a most scenic drive to Whittier. We will enjoy a six hour glacier cruise on calm waters. You will see more glaciers than any other cruise offered on a luxurious, deluxe, high speed catamaran. A complimentary lunch will be included. We will return to Anchorage for the night.

Day 3:  Anchorage is a beautiful city with gorgeous surroundings. We’ll begin our day with a tour of the city. Almost one-half of Alaska’s population live in Anchorage. We’ll continue our day driving to Denali National Park and overnight at the Park.

Day 4:  Early this morning we will take an exciting excursion through our nation’s most untamed National Park. As we tour Denali, there is a good chance that you will see bear, moose, fox, sheep and other animals. After our tour, we will continue to Fairbanks, located in the heart of Alaska. Tonight we will go to Alaskaland for a most delicious Alaska Salmon Bake. We’ll spend the two nights in Fairbanks.

Day 5:  Farthest north point of North America (optional tour). This morning we will jet across the Arctic Circle to Barrow “The Top of the World”. Here you will find the largest Eskimo settlement in the world. You may even see the Eskimos bring in a whale.
If you are staying in Fairbanks, a guided tour of Fairbanks will be included. Today we will board the Sternwheeler Riverboat for a cruise on the Chena and Tanana Rivers. We’ll see an authentic trapper’s base camp, Indian fishing wheels and sled dogs. We also will view homesteaders riverside log homes.

Day 6:  Our journey takes us along the Alaska Highway and through more of Alaska’s wilderness to the North Pole for shopping at the Santa Claus House. Today we’ll take the same route as the Trans-Alaska Pipeline, following it all the way to Valdez. Alaska’s beauty will mushroom before us as we travel closer to Valdez. We’ll be in Valdez for 2 nights.

Day 7:  Today we will see the Alyeska Marine Terminal. This is where the 800 mile American engineering marvel ends. Today we will also take a cruise to Columbia Glaciers. Along with the Glaciers we view wildlife; whales, sea otters, seals, eagles and more. Another day of great sites!

Day 8:  Traveling to Anchorage today we’ll enjoy the magnificance of the Chugach Mountains and the Worthington Glaciers. We will see numerous waterfalls, including the Bridal Veil Falls. People come from around the world to see Alaska. We have seen the best of this great land!

Day 9:We will arrive home with memories of the Frontier wonders of Alaska!
