Tour Itinerary
Day 2: We arrive in Albuquerque for our noon meal. After lunch we will visit Old Town founded over 250 years ago. Old Town was founded in 1706 and still bears characteristic traces of the period of Spanish History. Two nights in Albuquerque.
Day 3: This morning we値l rise early. We will see a spectacular site today. Hundreds of multicolored hot air balloons will rise into the sky in a mass ascension. If you have a camera you will want to bring it. Optional Hot Air Balloon ride available.
Day 4: This morning we will depart for Alamogordo where we will visit the Space Center and if time permits view the IMAX. We will also visit the White Sands National Monument which preserves 280 square miles of beautiful white wind sculptured sand dunes. Night in Alamagordo.
Day 5: Today we will leave Alamogordo and head for Carlsbad Caverns. After lunch we will take a tour of the famous Carlsbad Caverns. The Caverns, located in the Carlsbad Caverns National Park, lie in the rugged foothills of the Guadaloupe Mountains. The Caverns are a series of enormous rooms that form one of the world痴 largest caves. The temperature of the Caverns remains at a constant 56 degrees, so be sure to bring your sweaters. Night in Carlsbad, New Mexico.
Day 6: This morning we値l depart New Mexico and travel northeast to Lubbock for our noon meal. From Lubbock we値l drive north to Amarillo where we値l spend the night.
Day 7: From Amarillo we値l travel to Oklahoma City. After our noon meal and a stop at the Oklahoma National Memorial we will arrive home late this afternoon.
