Day 1: Starting in November, Nashville comes alive with Christmas lights, shows, and activities to celebrate the Christmas Season. We will see one of the largest Nativity’s in the country and so much more! Our first night is in St Louis. Day 2: After a hearty, hot continental breakfast (included), we travel to Nashville where we will stay three nights at the Opryland Hotel, which is fully decorated for the Christmas Season. The Hotel has a 13 Story Christmas tree with 23,000 lights. Over a million lights, miles of red ribbon and garland and hundreds of poinsettias decorate the premises. Later, we will visit the Opry Plaza and the Grand Old Opry Museum. The world famous Grand Old Opry will give our evening the Christmas climax everyone expects in Nashville. The Opry celebrates 83 years of shows with the new staging and big new video screens. Day 3: We board our deluxe coach this morning for a tour of Nashville to include a drive by the homes of the Stars, and the Ryman auditorium. Early this afternoon, we will have a tour at the new Country Music Hall of Fame. Shaped in the form of a musical note, this 35 million dollar museum has much to offer. Day 4: This morning we have tickets to visit the treasures located at the holiday’s crafts and antique fair in the Ryman exhibit. Then we’ll visit the “Fantasy In Ice.” This is a display of carvings, sculptures, and 3 dimensional Holiday themed displays, all made out of ice. There is so much more here! Just a short distance is the Opry Mills shopping and entertainment complex where we can enjoy shopping and great entertainment. This evening, we have reserved seats at the Christmas Dinner Show. Before the evening is over, we’ll attend the all new musical production, complete with amazing special effects, talented performers, and magnificent scenery. What a day! Day 5: Sleep in a little and then we’ll travel to St. Louis for the night. Day 6: We return home today after a hot continental breakfast with memories to bring us into the Christmas season! | ||
