Tour Itinerary
  Day 1:  Transatlantic flight to Zurich, Switzerland.

Day 2:  Arrive in Zurich, meet your Tour Manager and transfer to your hotel in Lucerne, Switzerland. Afternoon at leisure. Welcome dinner in the hotel

Day 3:  Breakfast at your hotel. Walking tours of charming Swiss cities, Lucerne and Basel. Board MS Switzerland II in Basel, your home for the next seven nights.Welcome Reception and dinner on board.

Day 4:  Breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea with pastries, and dinner onboard. Arrive in Strasbourg, France with included city tour. Cruise from Strasbourg via Plitterdorf to Speyer. Optional excursion to the Black Forest and Baden-Baden.

Day 5:  Breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea with pastries, and dinner onboard. Arrive in Speyer. Optional excursion to Heidelberg,Germany’s oldest university town with its 16th-century castle. Cruise from Speyer via Mannheim to Rudesheim with its three Medieval castles.

Day 6:  Breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea with pastries, and dinner onboard. Morning at leisure in Rudesheim to explore Market Square and aristocratic mansions. Cruise the Rhine River past Lorelei Rock, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Arrive in medieval Boppard,once a Roman fort,with free time to explore. Depart Boppard.

Day 7:  Breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea with pastries, and dinner onboard. Cruise the Mosel River past Gothic churches and quaint villages. Arrive in Cochem with optional guided tour of Reichsburg Castle. Depart Cochem and cruise to Bonn.

Day 8:  Breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea with pastries, and dinner onboard. Arrive Cologne, the 2000 year old city. Optional Cologne City Tour, largest city in Germany in the Middle Ages. See the Shrine of the Magi, a masterpiece of goldsmith artistry. Depart Cologne.

Day 9:  Breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea with pastries, and dinner onboard. Arrive Amsterdam. Optional excursion to Keukenhof Gardens, at the height of tulip season. Enjoy a panoramic city tour of Amsterdam. Farewell dinner onboard.

Day 10:  Breakfast onboard. Transfer to the Amsterdam Schiphol Airport for return flights home.
