Canada & New England
Airfare from Wichita
Enjoy a tour and overnight in beautiful Quebec City prior to a fascinating cruise vacation that will take us from Corner Brook, Halifax, Sydney and Saint John in Canada down the New England coast with gorgeous fall scenery the entire way!
Some of the ports include:
Corner Brook, NL Off the east coast of Canada, on the island province of Newfoundland, we’ll find Corner Brook. Corner Brook is a city set against a backdrop of awe-inspiring natural surroundings including forest, rocky coastline, marvelous fjords and a plethora of offshore islands. The city is tucked in the Long Range Mountains, part of the Appalachian Mountain belt. Though the landscape is rugged, the people of Newfoundland are known for their warm, friendly hospitality.
Halifax, NS Hundreds of kilometers of incredible coastline with majestic scenery from end to end qualifies Halifax as perhaps one of the most beautiful capital cities in the world. We’ll find the perfect blend of big city excitement, small town charm and natural pristine beauty. There’s plenty to see in Halifax. From picturesque fishing villages, to vibrant shopping districts. Not to mention impressive galleries and museums, historic sites, fine restaurants and colorful gardens.
Saint John, NB Saint John is rich in history, nearly 400 years old. As Canada’s oldest settlement, this harbor town is the gateway to the scenic wonders of New Brunswick. Nature also blessed the area with one of her most astonishing phenomena: the reversing River Rapids. The tides of the Bay of Fundy rise with such a force that they actually cause the St. John River to reverse direction and its waters to flow upstream. The waterfront and the old district has restored St. John’s charm and its sense of history.
Boston, MA Hailed as the “Cradle of American Independence,” Boston is filled with historic sites. It is a city every American should visit at least once. Follow the Freedom Trail along three of the most historic miles in the country. See the site of the Boston Tea Party, trace the route of Paul Revere’s famous ride, and stand on the bridge where Minutemen fired “the shot heard ‘round the world.” In the old Charleston Navy Yard you can see the USS Constitution, the nation’s oldest commissioned warship.
